Futures Design is a methodology crafted by Bespoke over many years of working with different organisations and companies around the world exploring a diverse variety of topics relevant for the future of our societies.
This method brings together the disciplines of Design and Strategic Foresight, by using different tools, mindsets and frameworks from both worlds to help organisations make sense of the changes occurring in the present in order to better understand how the future might look like.
Futures Design’s aim is not to make specific predictions about the future, but rather create a general sense of landscape of what is possible tomorrow.
In this project, Climate Kic’s Foresight Unit worked hand and hand with Bespoke exploring the following question:
What skills, competences and capacity do Higher Education Institutions need to encourage transformative learning for a greener future?
We used the Futures Design framework to structure and guide our process, and to help us better understand the forces and signals emerging today within the landscape of High Education Institutions, as well as exploring the possible implications of these changes in the future of this field.
